Quadrilateral constructions

Students: about 25 community members of all ages

Materials: 360 four inch squares of corrugated plastic in 3 colors, zip ties

Equipment: corrugated plastic cutter (if available), radial arm saw, drill press

Software: none

Duration: two two hour sessions

Project: Join corners using zip ties. The squares follow the edges of a near-miss Johnson solid to create a semi-open lattice polyhedron.

 Reimann and a helper.  Community collaboration.  Overwhelming success.
